Waynetown, Indiana -- George W. Gooding, 77, an area farmer of Wallace, died at 1:20 ? m. Sunday July 5, 1970 at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health for several months. Born April 27, 1893, in Fountain county, he was the son of Isaac and Sarah Clouse Gooding. On April 27, 1918 he was married to Viola Allen at Rockville who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, George e of Crawfordsville, Russell of Wallace and Dale of Kingman Rt 1 and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may calla the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. -typed by kbz
